I started my Yoga classes five years ago with Ann. It’s been a wonderful Yoga journey for me. I will continue this journey as long as I can. Thank you Ann! ~Josef

Over the years, I have tried numerous yoga classes but never felt comfortable enough to stay with them for any length of time. When I joined Ann’s class at the Rec Center, I was pleasantly surprised because I truly enjoyed it! That was over 3 years ago and I still look forward to my weekly classes. I have learned invaluable experiences and exercises to help me continue to stay healthy, flexible and relaxed. This class was perfect for me! Ann has gone out of her way to make her class accessible to all of us, either with her in person classes, or via Zoom, even outside when weather permits. She is a wonderful instructor and highly regarded by all her students. ~Jackie

I have been practicing yoga for nine years and Ann is definitely my favorite yoga instructor. She obviously loves what she is doing, is clear in her instructions, compassionate, thorough and always has a smile on her face. She has been very flexible and agile in responding to the challenges of continuing yoga practice during the pandemic. I would rate her five stars (or five chakras 😀). ~Will K

My favorite days of the week are Tuesday & Thursday when I have Yoga classes taught by Ann Lew. Her knowledge & experience come across peacefully with mindfulness & kindness to ourselves most important. She has a deep love of yoga and all its benefits. These are just a few reasons I enjoy Ann’s classes. I could go on & on! Connie Z

When I began my practice, I was lucky enough to begin with Ann. My body was broken! After two big surgeries and complications it hurt to walk well, it actually hurt to move. I first attended one of Ann's basics classes which was perfect for this newbie. Ann listened with care and concern when I shared some of my physical issues, and with her background knowledge of physical therapy, her master knowledge of yoga, and her kind and gentle spirit, I began to heal and get stronger as I worked on the various poses she gave us in class. The way Ann runs her practice, with her quiet, knowledgeable, yet strong way makes everyone feel accepted and motivated to try the best variation of poses for them. People in her yoga classes feel free to ask her questions about various poses, and Ann presents a climate of non judgement of others and of ourselves. We are in class together to make the most of the poses and feel so much better at the end of class because of the beneficial flow of poses she has us do. She gives the class variations of poses to do and respects everyone's abilities and encourages her class to honor their bodies and yet challenges us in a way that is motivating and non judgmental. It's difficult to explain the Zen feeling one feels in her class, but it is there and I know I always wish class lasted a bit longer. It will be worth your while to try one of Ann's classes. If you do, you'll want to attend more! ~Donna
